Harper Grace

Harper Grace is known in these parts as the Best Dog Ever, Best Mama Ever, Best Therapy Dog, Best Dock Diving Dog, Best There-When-You-Need-Her-Most dog. Harper is Golden Hour's foundation girl and she was born April 3, 2019. 

I got Harper from my good friend and mentor Kelli Mullen of Rhythm Goldens. Harper went Best of Opposite Sex her very first AKC show at 7 months old, over champions! When it happened, I had no idea what a tremendous honor that was. She even won Best in Specialty Sweeps the next month. As she grew up Harper and I did everything together, including every sport we could find (agility, obedience, scent work, barn hunt, Fast CAT, dock diving). After all of the "fun" sports Harper decided going in left circles was not her favorite thing, so she retired from her show career. She earned titles in the fun sports, though, and her CCA of course! Harper gave me two beautiful, exceptional litters and she now spends her days keeping the young ones in line, swimming in the pool I built for her, and doing therapy work with the Hearts of Gold Team at the Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid-Florida.

Harper's OFA test results can be found here. Harper had a normal Thyroid panel done via Michigan State University and she is cleared for ICH, ICH-2, and PRA (prcd, PRA-1, and PRA-2) via parentage.
