How Golden Hour Puppies Begin Their Lives:

• My puppies are raised to have every possible advantage. I set high standards that allow my puppies to have the absolute best possible start to their lives. Like us, so much of our temperament is determined by genetics and our early environment, and I take this very seriously. 

• My puppies:

  • are raised inside my home and are well socialized with children, people of all ages and races, and other animals. 

  • undergo Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction beginning when they are 3 days old.

  • develop with the Puppy Culture method and the Avidog program so they are well-adjusted and trained using positive methods (they are well on their way to being potty trained when they leave!).

  • go to their new homes at eight weeks old after having a wellness check by a veterinarian and immunizations. 

• Puppies are placed with their new families based on:

  • your lifestyle and what you are looking for in a new golden family member

  • their personalities which I have extensively studied during their development period

  • results of the conformation evaluation done at 7.5 weeks old, and 

  • results of temperament testing done at 7-7.5 weeks old.

• I found my calling with golden retrievers and I invest everything I have into my goldens. As such, I am very selective about who my puppies live with. If you are looking to buy a golden retriever puppy and never speak to the breeder again, we are not a good match. My goldens are in the Golden Hour family forever, and this means I am here for you for every single issue that might arise with your golden for its lifetime. It means if you *EVER* decide the golden is not a good fit for your family anymore, he or she can come back to me with a full refund to you, no questions asked. 

• It also means it is important to me to hear updates often. I will check in with you, and we have a group chat for every litter. I place my goldens to live as fully integrated family members; they go on family vacations, car rides, hikes, walks, farmer's markets, and training classes.
