Welcome to Golden Hour Goldens! I'm Lindsey Rodriguez, and I'm a small hobby golden retriever breeder and Psychology professor at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. Goldens have been my spirit animal since I was born. My passion for goldens led to starting Golden Hour Golden Retrievers, and my vision is to enhance the future of the breed through training, competing, and occasionally ethically breeding golden retrievers.
You might be here because you're looking for a reputably bred golden retriever puppy. Please take a look around. It makes me so happy when families do their research! Adding a golden retriever to your family is a huge investment and just as humans are a product of our genetics and environment, who you get your puppy from and how they raise the puppies have important implications for its temperament, personality, health, and overall appearance.

Although I primarily breed to produce show dogs for myself, the majority of my puppies are sold as loving companions to pet homes on a non-breeding contract with AKC limited registration.
